are you for real?

Being the first day of August, I have to ponder where did the summer go? While I review the past 2-3 months in my mind, one thing stands out clearly. My satisfaction has been fed, and I am thankful for the great times with family and friends. My mind is full of beautiful memories laced with laughter (4th of July water fights), pride (grandkids achieving various accomplishments) and a little emotion (I miss my dear mom and dad on this earth). These events over the past few months have provided stability to know that life is real. People are real. Everything I experienced was real, and additional reality is coming my way. Summer isn’t the only time these precious memories are made. It just seems like they are the most fun as we humans frolic in the sunshine and enjoy the smiles blooming flowers place on our lips. I am making my goal as the northern climate switches to continue living in reality. To live in the here and now regardless of what time of year it is. My greatest joy on this earth is sitting with my dear Robynn swigging coffee and visiting about life with concerns for our country and pride as we ponder the great times with family. Looking forward to more joy can never be a bad thing…but casting despair because of days gone by can be depressing. So my chin will be high with my chest puffed out as I move forward through the seasons of life!
